What does Partners Radiology do? Partners Radiology identifies, communicates, promotes and supports "best practices" between the pre-eminent radiology departments of Partners HealthCare, Inc.
How does Partners Radiology work collaboratively with all Partners Hospitals? Partners Radiology facilitates collaboration through committees, projects and retreats. Currently, committees are comprised of representatives from each Partners Hospital. Each committee has a distinct charter focusing on a key area of radiology. They essentially provide forums for discussion and promote collaborative teamwork between Partners Hospitals. The projects are designed to identify and promote "best practices" by working together to implement improvements throughout the system. The retreats allow for all of radiology to come together to share ideas and openly discuss important and "hot" topics in radiology.
Who provides direction for Partners Radiology’s focus? The Executive Radiology Operating Committee (EROC), which consists of all the Radiology Chiefs and some administrators from the Partners Institutions, provides oversight for the Partners Radiology Senior Management Team to establish the direction for Partners Radiology.
How and when does Partners Radiology get engaged in projects and initiatives? Partners Radiology has a well-defined strategic plan, which was developed collaboratively with the ROC. The strategic plan outlines Partners Radiology’s key initiatives and objectives for the coming year. Periodically, based on changing priorities and resources, new projects are evaluated and commissioned.
